Deck collapse sends unconscious man to hospital Olivia Liu Asbury Park Press USA TODAY NETWORK – NEW JERSEYLONG BEACH – A man is in still in stable condition three days after a second-story deck collapsed at a house on Arnold Boulevard, officials said. According to the Long Beach Township Police Department, officers were called to the house around 1:48 p.m. Saturday. Two men were injured in the deck collapse. One was unconscious and the other had minor injuries. The unconscious man was sent to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. ‘The incident is not considered to be suspicious,’ according to the police department. The Long Beach Township Building Department, ‘believed that the deck collapsed due to corrosion over time.Olivia Liu is a reporter covering transportation, Red Bank and western Monmouth County.
